Strive can offer businesses a range of qualification and assessment services, and tailor each project to meet the specific needs of the organisation.    

Assessment

Strive has access to a pool of qualified workplace assessors to conduct assessments on behalf of clients. The service includes all assessment, administration and credit reporting and we can offer investment based on an individual unit standard through to a full scale project involving a number of different qualifications.

Development of Assessment Materials

Strive can develop and design new assessment materials and resources, whether these are designed to link to NZQA unit standards, or to an internal quality management system within a specific organisation. We have worked with Learning State (the ITO for the public sector) and Omaka Training (the training division of Transpower) in this capacity. 

Qualification Development

Strive can assist organisations to develop training plans and design NZQA qualifications that are tailored to the clients individual needs and requirements.  While most qualifications have compulsory unit standards that cannot be changed, many also have the flexibility to choose unit standards that fit the role, interests and professional direction of the individual.  With Strive’s knowledge of the NZQA Framework, we can make this selection easy and effective.

Administration and credit reporting

Strive provides an administration and credit reporting service for clients who still wish to use their own in-house assessors or even a combination of external and in-house assessors, but do not have the time or resource to administer the process.  This service includes managing the assessors, administering the qualification and the reporting of credits. We also keep the qualification on track and ensure that qualification time frames are being adhered to, and provide regular reports to management. 

Project Management – Large scale projects

Strive has the capability to manage large scale NZQA projects through planning the project, developing the qualification to suit the organisations needs, writing assessment materials as well as providing the assessor resource, administration and credit reporting service.

Training Materials
